چکیده
We investigate the spectral function of Higgs mode in a two dimensional Bose gas, by using effective field theory zero temperature limit. Our approach explains experimental feature that peak is soft continuum rather than sharp peak, broadened and vanishing superfluid phase, which cannot be explained terms $O(2)$ model. also find scalar susceptibility same as longitudinal susceptibility.

Renormalization group theory of the three-dimensional dilute Bose gas.
We study the three-dimensional atomic Bose gas using renormalization group techniques. Using our knowledge of the microscopic details of the interatomic interaction, we determine the correct initial values of our renormalization group equations and thus obtain also information on nonuniversal properties. As a result, we can predict for instance the critical temperature of the gas and the superf...
متن کاملThe Landau–Ginzberg Theory for the Two-Dimensional Bose Gas
Using results from sheaf theory combined with the phenomenological theory of the two-dimensional superfluid, the precipitation of quantum vortices is shown to be the genesis of a macroscopic order parameter for a phase transition in two dimensions.
متن کاملThe Ground State Energy of a Dilute Two-dimensional Bose Gas
The ground state energy per particle of a dilute, homogeneous, two-dimensional Bose gas, in the thermodynamic limit is shown rigorously to be E0/N = (2π~ 2ρ/m)| ln(ρa2)|−1, to leading order, with a relative error at most O ( | ln(ρa2)|−1/5 ) . Here N is the number of particles, ρ = N/V is the particle density and a is the scattering length of the two-body potential. We assume that the two-body ...
متن کاملInstability in a Two-Dimensional Dilute Interacting Bose System
The formalism of Ursell operators provides a self-consistent integral equation for the one-particle reduced operator. In three dimensions this technique yields values of the shift in the Bose-Einstein condensation (BEC) transition temperature, as a function of the scattering length, that are in good agreement with those of Green’s function and quantum Monte Carlo methods. We have applied the sa...
متن کاملRenormalization Effects in a Dilute Bose Gas
The low-density expansion for a homogeneous interacting Bose gas at zero temperature can be formulated as an expansion in powers of √ ρa, where ρ is the number density and a is the S-wave scattering length. Logarithms of ρa appear in the coefficients of the expansion. We show that these logarithms are determined by the renormalization properties of the effective field theory that describes the ...
